Tempting

Tempting

At a writing of given and some subsequent sections the author intentionally

ignores and does not result some dark pages of human

History, considering, that for their coverage the writing of separate work is required

Also it is limited, basically, with statement only standard and in many respects

the traditional point of view in questions of tempting and the Fall of the first people.

The given point of view too is true though does not give all completeness of a picture

described events also does not reflect all truth of the Bible, but only partially.

Describing the days in common spent by Adam and his companion in Paradise, it is necessary to tell, that these days may be divided by two, approximately equal parts. Thus their first half concerns time when Adam and Eve lived, so to say, as the brother and sister. Second half of these days is the period during which Adam and Eve lived already as husband and wife and Eve becomes mother* 41. In this connection we will remind those steps of great God's grace on which, not reflecting, Adam moved:

1. Having created the fine earthly World, the God has given to the man to live in it and to enjoy its beauty.

2. Then the God has led to the man of all beasts and birds whom He has created earlier. This pastime has distracted Adam for some time. When acquaintance to animals has been ended, the God has given to Adam possibility to ascend else above:

3. The God places Adam in Paradise. However even the paradise life gradually weighs Adam: he feels loneliness. Then the God has given to the man mach more comfort:

4. The God creates Eve and leads in Paradise to Adam. Adam is rather livening up, and some time soars on happiness wings. However gradually it has ceased to suits him to go with Eve on Paradise, undertaken for a hand, and he passes to even higher degree in mutual relations of the man and the woman:

5. The entering into intimate relationship.

Thus we will notice, that during the life Adam never applied (or a pray) to the God and never gave thanks to Him. Therefore the ascension on pleasure steps should end once with crash as the God has ceased to be for Adam the centre and a support, and the main counting has been made not on the Creator, but only on His creation.

Day described by us differed from the previous by new games which can be entitled wedded games, for example such as are described in Gen. 26:8. This day the couple, at last, has achieved the object the travel, that is Paradise Center. It was last day, so to say their wedding travel which have passed already for the second week. Simultaneously this day corresponded to the higher point, or top of their family happiness. Their love has really got stronger and has increased. Travelling with their arms around each other, it seemed to them, that to happiness increase there will be no bounds. But we, knowing, how Adam's and Eves history will end, we can tell, that an ascension on top of the Everest of pleasures, as a matter of fact, came to an end. If to do comparison else, figuratively speaking, the sun of their paradise and family happiness this day shone in zenith. Having arrived on a place, the couple has stayed for rest in Paradise centre. All complex of other paradise pleasures this day, certainly, was, as well as in all last days, but we about these pleasures already mention a little, - as about something which has become already habitual, for example about paradise fruit and meal on the whole.

The stop for rest after enough long travel on Paradise has pleased to Adam wife: recently she often thought of rest and now, having taken seat more conveniently, already anywhere did not wish to go, even for a fruit. Adam has decided to go for a fruits himself not to trouble the wife. But to go was not in time, as them lighted up a light, above the brightness of the sun: that day the Lord God has again visited them and has offered them the questions:

- Adam! Do you love Me? - Has again asked Lord. Adam has been rather keen on love to Eve and absolutely those days did not think of the God, therefore this question have taken him unawares. But all the same Adam has answered:

- Yes, Lord.

Having heard a voice God's, Eve in fear has jumped on knees from the place where sat, and the Lord has told:

- Children, have you any food?

- Around on trees it is a lot of fruits, Adam has answered.

- Only fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, - the God has told, - you shall not eat, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

When the Lord has ceased to speak and has left, Adam has gone to Paradise trees to bring fruits which were loved by Eve but which nearby it have not appeared. For all time of their travel Adam never left the wife alone, but that time it has turned out differently. When Adam has disappeared behind Paradise trees, for a dragon, at last there has come time to take advantage of such long-awaited absence of Adam! At this time the wife has appeared alone, expecting while Adam will come back. Not delaying long, the snake has left the shelter and has seemed before eyes of the wife. Remembering Adam's story about reasonable animals of the Heaven, she at all was not frightened. The snake has indeed appeared reasonable and has started talking with wife. From an unfamiliar voice the wife has slightly shuddered:

- Did God say, You shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

And the woman said to the serpent:

- We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; but God said, You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

But the serpent said to the woman:

- You will not die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. It is a little having hesitated, the dragon gone away* 50 to some separately standing tree also have slowly disappeared behind its branches. The wife, was about opened a mouth that something to answer so with an open mouth and followed it with her eyes. The tree, behind which the dragon has disappeared, was good for food and was a delight to the eyes. Because gives knowledge, Eve has thought. Having come back, Adam first knew nothing about these thoughts of the wife which began to turn often the look on a forbidden tree.
