Section 13 As it is necessary to correct the lamps

One of large lacks about which here we speak also which it is possible to meet now, this is reading not all Bible, and only some elite in it of places. Such places are usually underlined in the Bible or even are allocated with a fat font in the typographical way. Thus the preaching in most cases goes only on a theme of these underlined places. Separate currents in Christianity print the Gospels in which these selected places are allocated by a fat font. We will illustrate told above on an example of the book of Revelation. So, of all chapters and verses which are available in it, for the preaching 57 verses are selected at the best. In total in the book of Revelation there are 400 verses, i.e. for the preaching it is selected less than 15 % of the text of that book. The most preached books in the Bible are four Gospels, but also here volume of the text selected for the preaching, does not exceed 75 % from the general contents, that is the fourth part of the Gospels practically is not preached. For the Revelation book this indicator is even worse, as from each 10 verses of this book for the preaching one verse is usually selected only. Besides, the preaching on the Revelation theme sounds much less often than a usual evangelical preaching. So, having visited meeting, for example, 10 times, it is possible to hear never the preaching on a theme from the Revelation book, because of its rarity. All it means that the preaching of the book of Revelation is now or in embryo, or it at all is not present. But time that this position has changed for the better has come. The Revelation book will not remain more forgotten, but will be proclaimed to the people God's together with evangelism, as well as Apostle Paul has told: For I have not shunned to declare unto you ALL THE COUNSEL OF GOD, Acts.20:27.

King Josiah, about whom we spoke, has resolutely refused everything that was not co-ordinate with the Law God's. Reading about it, we continually find such words in the Scripture: He burned, he put down, he brought out, stamped it small in powder, he brake down, and defiled, he took away, he brake in pieces, has cut down and so on, 2Ki.23: 4-15. These affairs of Josiah were right in the sight of the Lord, 2Ki.22:2. Let and in our hearts there will be no more places to various lacks about which it was spoken above. Let's destroy all ignorant and become obsolete. Priests in times of Josiah built onto and added a lot of unnecessary, idolize and nasty. Josiah it was not frightened these priests, but has eliminated them and has cleared the House God's of all abomination. Today each of us should act also as Josiah that is carefully to look narrowly at all customs in our communities, whether they correspond to Word of God? If are not, for them there is not a place in Church. We should pay also a close attention on that preaching which is offered us by modern ministers, - whether there corresponds this preaching to pure Word of God? If is not corresponds, it is necessary to refuse such "sermons" and not to be guided any more by them in the life. Otherwise the Lord will convict us, and we will be guilty, Rev.2:20. If we make these actions for clearing of the House God's, i.e. of his Church, we will trim for this the lamps. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps, the Lord has told also, Mat.25:7. The lamp (or a lampstand) is a Church God's, Rev.1:20. We will not forget, that actions for clearing of the House God's are right in sight of Jesus wherefore He acted in a similar way, clearing the temple, Mark.11:15.

But right before the God affairs which were done by King Josiah, proceeded only to his death. The following after Josiah kings have not wanted to continue these pleasing to God affairs. They again have gone by a way which has refused Josiah. One of these kings became Jehoahaz, received a kingdom after death of Josiah. His affairs were objectionable to the Lord. Reign of Jehoahaz proceeded only three months, 2Ki.23:30 - 32 then the Jehoiakim son of Josiah began to reign, and reigned of 11 years. This Jehoiakim also did that which was evil in the sight of the God, imitating to all that his fathers had done, 2Ki.23:36. In his days the Nebuchadnezzar, the king Babylonian came up, we read further in 2Ki, 24:1.

The king the Nebuchadnezzar is enough celebrated personality and we will short stop on it to learn years of his reign as the Bible gives us such possibility. For this purpose we will begin with king Jehoiachin who reigned after the Jehoiakim. Jehoiachin also did objectionable in eyes of the Lord, and his reign proceeded only three months, 2Ki.24:8. The end of his reign was put by the Babylonian king the Nebuchadnezzar. Year of accession of Jehoiachin is known, knowing, that after the death of king Josiah which was in 3518th year, before accession of Jehoiachin there have passed 11 years and 3 months. That is accession of Jehoiachin was in the beginning of 3530th year (3518 + 11 years and 3 months). In the same 3530th year, in the middle of the year the end of his reign has come. It was in the eighth year of reign of the Nebuchadnezzar, 2Ki.24:12. Thus, the 3522nd year (3529 years and 6 months minas 8 years) was first year of reign of the king of the Nebuchadnezzar. Jehoiachin has been taken away to Babylon, 2Ki.24:15 where was in a dungeon till the end of reign of the Nebuchadnezzar. The Babylonian king following after the Nebuchadnezzar has released of Jehoiachin. As it is told in 2Ki.25:27, by then Jehoiachin was in a captivity 37 years. Thus, the death of the Nebuchadnezzar is fells on 3567th year (3530 + 37). During those three months of reign of Jehoiachin, i.e. in 3530th year from Adam, in the end of March, begin and 70 years of the Babylonian captivity, see 2Ki.24:12-16. Following after Jehoiachin king Zedekiah was last king before destruction of Jerusalem. Anger of the Lord was over Jerusalem in days of Zedekiah, 2Ki.24:20. On the eleventh year of reign of Zedekiah, in the fifth month, in the seventh day of month Jerusalem has been burnt and destroyed, 2Ki.25:2-10. It has occurred in 3540th year (3529 years and 3 months + 11 years). With the description of this event comes to an end the Second Book of the Kings. Last event mentioned in that book - release of king Jehoiachin. In total the Second book of the Kings covers the period from the death of Ahab (which was in 3233rd year) till release of king Jehoiachin in 3567th year. This year the Book of prophet Jeremiah comes to an end also.

Prophet Jeremiah repeatedly warned of king Zedekiah and all people about approach of the captivity Babylonian and that Jerusalem will be burnt by fire (see book of Jeremiah, 37th and 38th chapters), but neither king, nor his servants, the people of the country did not listen to words of the Lord which He through Jeremiah spoke the prophet, Jer.37:2. Prophet Jeremiah prophesied from 13th year of king Josiah and till the end of 11th year of king Zedekiah, before resettlement of Jerusalem in the fifth month, Jer.1:2,3, that is from 3500 to 3540 year when the temple and the city of Jerusalem have been destroyed, and also the other people still remaining in the city were moved, 2Ki.25:9-11. Jeremiah has wailed over death of King Josiah, 2 Chr.35:25. In total Jeremiah prophesied throughout 40 years. Last 52nd chapter of his book it is written any more Jeremiah, but by another chronicler.

Still during lifetime of Jeremiah, the prophet the Ezekiel has started to prophesy. But he prophesied not in Jerusalem, but among captured Jews in the earth of Chaldea. The Ezekiel was among the very first immigrants whom the king the babylonian Nebuchadnezzar has started to move, since third year of reign of the Jehoiakim. That year the Jehoiakim has been enslaved also, Dan.1:1,2. But the Jehoiakim some time still continued to reign, being under the control of the Nebuchadnezzar, therefore the king Babylonian has not taken away him to Babylon, 2Ki.24:1. In order to learn years of rule of the Jehoiakim, it is necessary to recollect, that 3518th year was last year of reign of known king Josiah. After him three months ruled Jehoahaz, till third month of 3519th year. This year the Jehoiakim began to reign, and the third year of his reign comes to an end in 3522nd year. And this year the Jehoiakim has been enslaved, Dan.1:1,2. Let's in passing notice, that from this year the book of prophet Daniel begins.* To Ezekiel a word was Lord's in the fifth year from capture of the king the Jehoiakim, Ezek.1:2, hence, in the end of 3526th year. Last date mentioned in the book of prophet Ezekiel, concerns 14th year after destruction of Jerusalem, Ezek.40:1, i.e. 3554th year. Jerusalem as we already know, has been burnt and destroyed in 3540th year, hence, the prophet the Ezekiel prophesied 14 years before destruction of the city and 14 years after city destruction, in total 28 years. Destruction of Jerusalem and the events subsequent to it are described in the 2nd Book of the Chronicles: And they burnt the House of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof. And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten years (70 years). Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying: Thus says Cyrus, king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has the Lord of heaven given me; and he has charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The Lord his God be with him, and let him go up, 2 Chr.36:19 - 23.

These words of the Scripture allow extending our thread of time stretched since times of Adam, 70 years more.

The note: *all chronological records of the book Last invitation have formed subsequently a basis for chronological Tables of the book The End of the days and the separate dates meeting in other books of the author.
