Section 4 Whether «the theory of seven periods» is correct?

If to accept Ivan Kargel's point of view, that «7 churches represent 7 following one behind another of the periods» it turns out, that each such period has its Angel. That is at first, - during the first, Ephesus period, the first angel (an angel of church in Ephesus) serves. Then there comes the second, Smyrna’s period, and the angel of Smyrna’s church (and the previous angel leaves as if in "resignation") takes up service. Well, and other five angels wait for the turn … It turns out, as is visible, discrepancy. This discrepancy becomes appreciable even more if we listen to an explanation of Kargel himself. He writes: « In days of Apostles of church fall all more low and more low and nothing could keep internal decay of churches. All sacred, strict admonitions, threats have not worked on returning from coldness. The precious first Ephesus period has terminated and never will come back more, the candlestick is removed and the second period, Smyrna’s begins». If to trust in Kargel it turns out, that one candlestick became less. The Lord as if began to go any more among seven, but … among six candlesticks. However, for those, the rest candlesticks, time (accordingly Kargel) has not come yet. It turns out, that at the Lord only one candlestick (corresponding to the given period) always burns. But it is not so. After all before the Lord seven golden candlesticks SIMULTANEOUSLY burning! It about it is readable in Rev.1:12, 13. As we see, « the theory of the periods » does not do. It felt also Kargel himself. Contrary to own interpretation, he has been compelled to write: « All of them (periods) from the third and up to the end continue to be together until coming of the Christ ».

Unwillingness to accept words of the Scripture (including of the book of Revelation) such with what they are results and in other many errors. One of them consists in, as if 7 Angels of seven Churches are presbyters. In this sense F.Farrar's interestingly opinion; he writes: «Angels cannot be bishops (i.e. presbyters). If the ancient men assumed, that bishops here are understood, they would apply this term. Just as Daniel spiritualizes of Angels of the people (Dan.10:20, 12:1) and here “the responsible head or the keeper of church” are understood».
