In Thyatira there was a sect denying the doctrine about LOGOS (that is about the Word) and thereof denying messages of Apostle John. The doctrine of Gnostics has got into numbers of Thyatira church (or, in other words, "experts") the depths of Satan. Sights of followers of this doctrine are reflected in their book under the name «Great announcement». It is difficult even to state in brief their doctrine as thus there is some feeling of disgust from contact with something dirty. Here is how states Farrar sights of followers of this doctrine: « They were under influence of a certain cabbalism, declared, that know of evil origin. Balefulness of their system was found out from many sides. They extolled imagined knowledge over pure and ingenuous faith, erroneous accepted terminology for a creed, mixed game by words with the solution of serious questions, inspired to the followers pompous consciousness, that they own the mysterious doctrine which as if infinitely ennobles them over ordinary mortals people; taught that evil attached of all matter. The sexual and moral dissoluteness justified that «for the true connoisseur (or Gnostic) all life consists in the spirit and that everything, that did his body - has no importance». They said that the moral law as if was a thing of evil. Their attempts to explain the Universe are pity so, that at the best can cause only contempt. They vaguely imagined true essence of a sin, reduced religion and morals on degree of funny questions, believed salvation in metaphysics systems (in cabbalism, magic and other in such sort). In empty speculations and verbal analyses lost track of the practical answer which the Christianity gave to all deepest questions of a human life. Considered them self free from morals rules, as well as from rules of Leviticus ceremonialism. That supposedly enough only belief and if this belief is correct the God as if does not need to care much as they live. Some of them excessive asceticism was inherent also. Apostle John opens these errors as inherent of antichrist ». 24. As the Lord praises those who do not know the depths devilish, we will not state them here further. 22. Jezebel, available in Thyatira church and naming herself a prophetess it is left INTO GREAT TRIBULATION. She and her followers are named “commit adultery with her”. Them that commit adultery I will cast into great tribulation, - the Lord speaks. « To solicit honour, a rank, award from terrestrial Balaks is committing adultery, notices I. Kargel and adds: all balaks this world cannot offer that the Lord gives to the winning ». However, after these good words, Kargel soon again does an oversight as under burden of church in Thyatira he understands evil. But if the burden, imposed by the Lord, it is evil, what for the Lord advises to hold and keep it? (See Rev.2:24, 25). On the contrary, as burden here it is necessary to understand works, and service, and patience, Rev.2:19. After all « My yoke is easy, and my burden is light », Mat.11:30. Trusting the theory of the periods, Kargel declares, that « Thyatira’s the period » has already passed. However, here it is not clear: why it has passed, but the great tribulation promised in Thyatira’s the period, still has not come. To leave this inconvenient position Kargel has told, that though the city of Thyatira and church in it have disappeared many centuries ago, but «Jezebel with the followers still exists and should exist, until the great tribulation will come». So, Thyatira’s period has ended for a long time, but the tribulation promised in this period - still ahead, - is that logic of Kargel. Since times of existence of Thyatira to us names of some martyrs, killed for the name Christ's, for example the Carp, a bishop Thyatira’s have reached. In summary we will result the short characteristic of Thyatira’s church: still faithful, but too thoughtlessly concerning heretical temptations.
