So, the end of March 3530th year (see 2Ki.24: 11-16 and the text of the previous section) is a date started of a captivity Babylonian. The captivity termination, hence, has come in the end of 3599th year, or, more precisely, at the very beginning of 3600 year, in March, considering 3530th year as first year of a captivity plus other 69 years of a captivity. 3600 year also is first year of the Cyrus the king of Persia; this year 2nd Book of the Chronicles also comes to an end.
Command of the Persian king of the Cyrus about restoration of Jerusalem - very important date of world history. On the eve of the termination of the Babylonian captivity the prophet Daniel aspired to calculate this date, Dan.9:2, on the basis of prophecies of book of Jeremiah, then began to pray that the God has recollected waste Jerusalem and its sanctuary, and has forgiven the Jewish people, Dan.9:18. Angel who has come after a pray of Daniel, has foretold to him the further destiny of the Jewish people after the termination of a captivity Babylonian. This prediction attracts attention, first of all that in it is directly spoken about the Messiah (i.e. about the Christ), Dan.9:25,26. In this well-known prediction to Daniel the number of the years which have remained before First Coming of the Christ is informed (is more true to His death in the first Coming). To Daniel it has been told, that the beginning of calculation of these years should be conducted since then as there is a command about restoration of Jerusalem, i.e. it is a question of command of the king the Cyrus, ordered to restore Jerusalem temple off destruction. After a command exit should pass 62 sevenyears to death and resurrection of the Christ, Dan.9:26. Besides it, to Daniel it has been informed two more terms. One of them concerns duration of the Great tribulation, having to come in the latest time, Dan.9:27. Of this prophecy of Daniel has reminded to the disciples and the Christ during the earthly life, Mat.24:15, speaking about having to come great tribulation, Mat.24:21. Great tribulation concerns time end because after its termination Second coming of the Christ, Mat.24:29,30 will be made. Hence, prophecy of Daniel concerns both the First, and to Second coming of the Christ. As it has already been told, 62 sevenyears is a number of years from the termination of a captivity Babylonian to the crucifixion (and resurrection) the Christ. “Week” is seven years, hence, 62 “weeks” are 434 years (62 х 7). Year of the termination of Babylonian captivity to us is already known, this is beginning of 3600 year. Between this year and death of the Christ, according to the prophecy of Daniel, there should be 434 years!
The crucifixion of the Christ, hence, is fells on 4033 year from Adam! For the first time for all time of our historical review «On Bible pages» we have a possibility to keep count of years from the Christ, and not just from Adam as was till now. We will track, as prophecy of Daniel was fulfilled. Since 3600th year, including this year as first year, there have passed 401 years till the Birth of the Christ, then 30 years more when he began his ministering, Luke.3:23 and, at last, 3 years of his ministering to the crucifixion and resurrection. All figures resulted here, are taken from the Bible and are based on it. One figure, duration of earthly ministering of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ requires the proof only. Certainly, we can often hear from a mouth that one or other ecclesiast, that this ministering lasted as if «three and a half a year», but these words are based on anything and do not prove to be true by the Scripture. To define exact term of ministering of our Lord, detailed research of the text of all four Gospels, from the beginning and up to the end is required. But to do such work for the sake of specification of only one figure, it seemed too unjustified for some hasty researchers of the Scripture. However we will not refuse this problem. It is time after all to subject to careful check various statements, which we have got used to hear at our meetings, and if these statements mismatch Word of God - to reject them.
