SECTION 2 ADAM GETS ACQUAINTED WITH ANIMALS.

As it is told in the Scripture And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof, Gen. 2:19. Animals the God has led to Adam, certainly, not all at once, but serially. 35 thousand animals plus of 15 thousand species of birds which are known now make not less than 50 thousand individuals to which need to give names. However the Biblical concept of specie differs from accepted in biology. The biblical concept of a kind includes also related versions. For example: all breeds of dog, wolves, jackals, foxes, hyenas can be united in the words similar to dog. The same concerns versions of mice and rats; donkeys, horses and zebras and many other kind of animals. For the specified reasons the quantity of animals to which Adam has given names, is reduced and in practice has made about 5 thousand. The same concerns and the birds, which quantity has accordingly made no more than 1500.
